MOSELEY, Betty J., 78, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery, graduating from Sidney Lanier High School in 1952. She worked for the State of Alabama Driver's License Division in her early years after graduation. She married in 1958 at Second Baptist Church, which later became Eastmont Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death. She was a wonderful stay at home mom for several years until she decided to go back to work at Handey's Electronics, where she worked for many years until she retired in 2000. She loved to work in her yard and flower beds, cook for family and friends, research her family tree and crochet. She made many beautiful tablecloths, afghans and baby clothes. She loved to travel and took trips to Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Washington D.C. in recent years.

Surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and David Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Trixie Mullins, a daughter, Leslie Moseley, and her husband Earl Moseley who passed away just two months ago. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to her special caregivers, Gerald Wright and Elaine Stephenson, and to the wonderful Hospice nurse, Angie Reese.

Funeral services will be at Greenwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 3pm, with Art Long officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
