Alice Carol Stewart Harper, 50, of the 1100 block of Larkwood Ct., died Saturday, October 6, 2001. Mrs. Harper was born in Montgomery, Alabama, the daughter of the late Robert Stewart and the late Mrs. June Lofgren Stewart. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Harper was the wife of Allen Douglas Harper, Jr. Besides her husband, Mrs. Harper is survived by her two daughters, Mary Alison Harper and Elizabeth Stewart Harper, both of Virginia Beach and her sister, Mary Katherine Culebro of Mexico City, Mexico.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. in The Emmanuel Episcopal Church by the Rev. John Baldwin.
